PLEASE NOTE – There is a piece on your pool cleaner that must be removed before you install your new filter basket. If you do not remove this piece, it appears that the basket is too big and the lid will not close. First, remove the mesh basket that came with your cleaner originally. There is a plastic, rectangular piece on the inside bottom of your pool cleaner that then needs to be removed. It snaps out so you may need to use a little strength. After this piece is removed, the basket will slide right in.
